Race Night 22/8/12

Unfortunately I wasn't there, but I do  believe that Darren came out the nights winner.
Racing this week will be at Stu's.

Kinloch Track Update 28/8/12

The new section  has been primed  and the  1st  coat of paint applied. It has then been sanded back, At the same time the rest of the track has been masked up and given a light sand.

Race Night results 8/8/12 and 15/8/12

The racing on  Wed 8th  was at the 16th  ave track and Darren had come up  with a handicapped system for the nights racing. Peter just got there in  the end and Daniel came in a close second.

Last weeks racing (15th) was at the Scantlebury  track. With a marble draw for grid positions it was straight into the  nights racing of 2 heats of 3x3 with the best 3x3 deciding the final 3rd round. The results of the 3rd round would decide the nights winner.
With the sedan bodies on and with Dan  sitting this one out there were 6 cars lined up on  the starting grid. Things got off to  a flyer and after the first round it saw Peter (127.4) take a clear lead   Two laps behind were Darren (125.5) and Trevor (125.4).  Stu (122.4) wasn't that far behind and  Daniel (109.2) came out in  front of Tony (96.5)
The second round again  saw Peter 9130.7) come  out on  top, but Trevor (129.7) kept him honest. Stu (127.2) found another gear and Darren (124.7) had a shocker. Daniel (111.2) found a couple  of more laps as well as Tony (98).
Once  everyone's best 3x3 had been picked, it saw Darren, Daniel and Tony lined  up  for  the the3rd and final round. It is the result of this round that will determined the nights placings.
In  the B  final Darren  (129.4)  set the  bench mark to beat. Daniel (110.0)  well  and Tony (99.7) just missed  out in  getting into the treble figures.
 The A   final Saw Peter (132.8)  make  it a hat trick.  Trevor (132.3) couldn't quite get there and fell  a 1/2 a lap short. Stu (115.2) had problems and had his worst run of the night.
