Here they are at last. It was at the 16th ave track with the NASCAR bodies. My memory is a bit vague on this one, but I did write down the final results.
Darren had done a handicap format for the nights racing and he worked out the following system. Each 3x3 heat the below laps were added to the final results.
0 Trev
1 Darren
3 Dan
3 Peter
15 Barry
36 Daniel
For the second time in a row Daniel came out in 1st place with 254. 2nd was Peter with 251. 3rd was Dan with 246. 4th was Barry with 245. 5th was Trevor with 253. 6th was Darren with 209.

Race Night Last Week and Tomorrow
I haven't posted last weeks results as my son has been sick in hospital, so I will do both in the weekend. I also gave the track a spray of goo , but I think I put too much on. I will see how it looks tomorrow after you guys have do a few laps, but I might have to wipe some of it off. Either Piranha or treated Piranha's look like the best bet to use at this stage.

Kinloch Track Update
Well it's all done.....well almost. All I have to do is to steal the computer back off my son and goo up the track. Many thanks to Darren for doing the braiding and to Dan for the lane stickers.
From this.
About 8 weeks and around $400 latter to this.

Stu 249
Darren 249
Dan 245
Trev 238
Tony 232

Kinloch track Update 16/9/12
The track all paint.I repainted the whole track to keep the surface the same.
The sides all painted and the new section braided. While I had the blue paint out I re freshen some of the sides where the paint had come off from the cars crashing into them.
Race Night 12/9/12 Dan's Track
With a new handicapped system worked out and the ute bodies on it was time to test out the new bodies. There were 7 guys lined up for the nights racing and everyone was keen to get the racing underway.
Dan had worked the nights racing on a time penalty system and the cars could not be placed on the track until your time was called.
00 sec Daniel
20 sec Barry
24 sec Trev
24 sec Stu
25 sec Pete
27 sec Darren
30 sec Dan
The 1st round saw Stu lead the way with 113.6 with Dan only 2 laps behind on 111.5 . Only 0.3 laps behind him was Pete on 111.2 . Another 2 lap gap was Baz on 109.7 and then a 3 lap gap to Trev on 106.2 .
Daniel was next with 101.3 and Darren found out that you need 4 wheels to race and ended somewhat off the pace with 91.6
In the 2nd round, Pete showed how it was done by posting the best 3x3 of the night by doing a 114.4 . There was nothing between the next 4 with Stu on 112.5 chased by Baz on 112.0 which in turn was chased by Trev on 111.4 and Daniel was right up his spur gear on 111.2 . Dan was 1 lap behind him with 110.3 with Darren rounding things off with 99.2
For the 3rd and final round, it saw about a 1 lap gap between each driver. Again a new person lead the way. With his problems sorted out, this time it was Darren with 114.1, followed by Stu 113.1, Trev 112.2, Pete 111.5, Dan 109.8, Baz 108.8 and Daniel 105.1
Once the the dust had settled down and the laps added up, the nights winner by 2 laps was !!!!!!!! Stu !!!!!!!
339.2 Stu
337.1 Pete
331.6 Dan
330.5 Baz
329.8 Trev
317.6 Daniel
304.9 Darren
Next weeks racing will be at Darren's and with the ute bodies again there will be a lot of tape holding them together.

Race Night 5/9/12 Stu's Track
It was a great pleasure to have Paul and Wayne from the Hamilton club come over the hill to try out their luck on a Tauranga track. With Stev and Daniel away that made 9 guys lined up on the starting grid for the nights racing. Stu ran a slick show and we got though everything by 10.
With the NASCAR bodies on, things got off to a steady start with Pete leading the charge with a 175.48. Next was Dan with 173.60, closely followed by Paul with 173.16 . There was a small gap to the next bunch with Trevor doing a 166.80 chased by Stu with a 162.28 . Barry who did a 158.68 did well to stay in front of Darren who did 155.56 . Wayne was next on 149.36 and Tony rounded things up with a strong 140.88
The 2nd round saw the leader board change, this time with Dan out front and with a bit of a gap on the rest of the field, with a 177.92. Next was Trevor with 171.68 which was only just a little bit better than Stu's 171.40. Paul wasn't that far behind with a solid 168.16. Barry improved on his 1st round with a 166.88. Wayne did his best run of the night with 164.36. The next 2 both had shockers. Peter with a 164.16 and Darren with 157 even. Tony was his steady self and posted a 136.76.
With the 2 heats added up the leader board looked like this.
351.52 Dan
341.32 Paul
339.64 Pete
338.48 Trev
333.68 Stu
325.56 Baz
313.72 Wayne
312.56 Darren
277.64 Tony
In the 3rd and final heat, Dan showed the way by blasting off the best 3x4 of the night with a 181.52. Stu kept him honest by doing a 178.88, which was also his best. Peter was only 1 lap behind and made it a trio of personal best by doing a 177.88. There was a 7 lap gap to Trevor with a 170.48. Barry had him in his sights, but couldn't quite get there and ended up with 169.52. Next was Wayne on 161.60 with Paul chasing hard with a borrowed car and did well by doing a 157.20. Tony kept out of trouble and with 137.88 came out in front of Darren who found things really hard going to round things off with a 114.16
Once the armature smoke has settled down and things were added, up the results are as below.
533.04 Dan
517.52 Pete
512.56 Stu
508.96 Trev
498.52 Paul
495.08 Barry
474.88 Wayne
426.72 Darren
415.52 Tony
It was a great night racing and it was great to have the Hamilton guys here.
Next weeks racing will be at Dan's track with the new ute bodies. It should be interesting to say at least.
